In Loving Memory of Pete De Rosa

Seventy-Eight Years

Awaiting the next dance…

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears, of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Thank you for your warm wishes and prayers for our MOM & DAD.

Seventy-Eight Years

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside still waters.

He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me.

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and merecy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
